About Us
NGOs and NPOs often operate on passion, at the expense of or overlooking professionalism.
However, prioritizing the urgency of immediate service delivery over the importance of solid foundations, tools, and organizational structures seriously impacts NGOs’ ability to capitalize on their passion, and recruit and retain high calibre staff.
Thus AidWorks was born out of a desire to provide those tools for organizations to go from passion to professional- to do good and do it well.

Our Founder
After running a successful music school for over a decade, Jennifer took what was supposed to be a sabbatical teaching at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, and changed her entire career.
Nine months turned into two years in Afghanistan, and a Masters Degree in International Development Studies, focusing on migration. She has since worked with a variety of development organizations and social enterprises across Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
She is passionate about Hong Kong and its underserved communities, and created AidWorks as a platform to empower those organizations who support them.
Strategy
We help you develop strategies and tools that will help you stick to your mission and achieve your vision. We work with you to plan, monitor, and evaluate your programmes for maximum impact and learning, and help create comprehensive reports to keep your donors informed and engaged.
Operations
We provide you with operational guidance to help you optimize your processes, conceptualize and streamline your organizational structures, and assist with internal policy development.
We advise on refining roles and JDs, as well as developing Organigrams and Programmigrams that make sense for your organization.
Fundraising
We provide tools and training for putting together impactful grant proposals, and the means by which to track and manage funds awarded.
Referrals
We provide referrals to partner consultants for a range of other needs, like events planning, communications, and more.
